A video call. A man in uniform says a parcel in your name held drugs. He says you are under 'digital arrest', must stay on camera, and can clear your name by transferring money for 'verification'.
A text from 'your bank': suspicious activity detected. Minutes later, a caller who knows your name says your money is at risk and must be moved to a 'safe account' today.
A WhatsApp message from an unknown number: 'Hi Mum, I dropped my phone, this is my new number. I need to pay a bill urgently, can you send it now? Don't call, I can't talk.'
