TRACE VIRETH

Privacy notice

What you enter stays on your device

Last updated 24 September 2026. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

The short version

  • TRACE does not receive your answers or notes. They are worked out in your browser and are never stored or sent.
  • Vireth keeps no records of your checks. The only thing that can be saved is your own pause rules, country, and age group, and only if you press Save, in this browser, on this device.
  • There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking cookies.
  • You can delete everything at any time, and leave instantly with the “Leave quickly” button.

Who we are

TRACE Vireth is provided by TRACE Risk Advisory, based in Hyderabad, India. Contact: [email protected].

What happens to what you enter

When you answer questions, Vireth works out its assessment inside your browser. Your answers and notes are not sent to TRACE or to any other company. The site’s security settings block the page from sending data to any other server, so this is enforced by your browser, not just promised.

Nothing you enter is saved. If you press Save on your safety plan, your pause rules, country, and age group are kept in your browser’s local storage on this device, and nothing else. Vireth never asks for anyone’s name, phone number, or bank details. We cannot see, recover, or delete your saved rules for you, because we never have them.

Checking your own data

When you check a bank statement or paste your account’s security activity, it is read inside your browser. It is not uploaded, and it is not stored. Vireth ignores IP addresses and locations in what you paste.

Community sharing (not active)

Vireth includes an optional way to share an anonymous pattern report, to help warn others. It is switched off. If it is ever switched on, this notice will be updated first, you will be asked separately each time, you will see exactly what would be sent (only the scam pattern, your country, the week, and the outcome), and you will be able to withdraw it.

Offline use

So Vireth can open with no signal, your browser keeps a copy of Vireth’s own pages and code. That copy contains nothing you entered, and it is replaced when Vireth updates.

What our hosting provider sees

Like any website, when your browser loads pages, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) and our web server process standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. This information is not linked to anything you enter in Vireth, and we do not use it to identify you or build profiles.

How long things are kept

Nothing you enter is kept after you leave the page. If you saved your pause rules, they stay until you change or clear them.

Your control

You can clear your saved pause rules at any time from the Safety plan page. Clearing your browser’s site data also removes them.

Because TRACE holds no personal data from Vireth, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or erase on our side. If you have any question or complaint about privacy, write to [email protected] and we will reply. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Vireth can be used by under-18s. It asks for no names, contact details, or age beyond an optional “under 18” setting, which is used only to show child-safety support and is never sent anywhere.

Links to other services

Vireth links to helplines, reporting services, and official guidance run by other organisations. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes too. We will never start sending what you enter to a server without saying so clearly first.
